The Kresge Foundation Headquarters will relocate the foundation’s national operations to the historic Marygrove Conservancy campus in Northwest Detroit, reinforcing its long-standing commitment to the city and its neighborhoods. Designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro with landscape architecture by Hood Design Studio, the new 70,000-square-foot facility will serve as both a workplace and a community resource, providing spaces for collaboration, gatherings, and public engagement. Hannah-Neumann/Smith serves as Architect of Record, leading a Detroit-based team to support the design and delivery of a headquarters that connects to the campus’s historic architecture while advancing sustainability, resilience, and meaningful integration with the surrounding community.
